Blogging as you know has now become the new buzzword all over the world.
Blog is basically a reflection of your thought on any subject and unlike a website a blog has no set pattern of subject so, one day you may write about the different car models and on the other day you can choose to write about your pet. That is the variety of a blog!

Due to diverse and dynamic content, search engines love to crawl over blogs frequently.
With the arrival of adsence and other advertisement publishing programs blogging has become a profitable business too!

Not surprisingly, every day thousands of blogs are being set up by the people , both programmers and amateurs, all over the world on blogger.com and other free blogging websites.

A blog if written intelligently can help you to earn handsome money just by writing few articles daily. Jason Calcanis like bloggers, have already have done this successfully.
It is unbelievable, but his blogs, were generating a sum of $4000 everyday by the end of 2005 till he sold his webblogs to AOL for $25 million.

But successful blogging is not as easy as it seems. It needs a successful and well thought blogging strategy as well before you jump into this arena.

I have experienced some basic fundamentals for writing successful and interesting blog.

Write a short & interesting blog

According to many internet surveys it has been observed that web surfers do not like to read lengthy topics spanning deep down south! So keep your blog short and to the point. Remember! You only have few seconds to catch the visitor’s attention and long topics will scare them.
Be informal in your blogs


Blogs are basically your opinions so try to be friendly and informal in writing
So that user can attach themselves to your topic more effectively.



Do not write on topics you hardly know.

Most new bloggers just start up a blog out of fashion coz his/her friend has one. But think about it!
You are not going to continue long if you try your hands on alien topics.

Make your blog specialized on some topic you have firm grip.


Ask your readers opinion

You should invite users participation and ask them what they think about the topic you have written. This will help you under stand what people like to read and how you can tune-up your blog article.

Inter-link your topics

If you want to write many related topics you must interlink the topics giving related hyperlink from one topic to another which would be nice way of navigation for readers and will increase visitor say duration on your blog.

Open RSS feed for your blog

Many bloggers under estimate the power of rss feeds. But believe me it pays off with time when consumers of your blog feed point to your blog , with one way url ,linking, boosting your search engine ranking very fast.

This is a must follow method for every blogger. Search Engine Optimization or SEO as popularly called is the method which can help you increase your search engine ranking and opening a new door of visitors to your blog.
